Andrew J. "Andy" Birch, 27 of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday May 9th at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, May 8th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road.
Andy was born on January 18, 1988 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Tammy J. Jellison and Harold T. Birch. He graduated from Hempstead High School in 2006 and worked for Dubuque John Deere. He was a member of the UAW Local 94.
Andy was Dubuque Lands #1 Packer fan. He just received his coaching certificate and looked forward to becoming the next “Vince Lombardi.” He enjoyed NASCAR and local racing, and was known around the local track as the “Little Round Guy.”
He is survived by his mother Tammy (Greg Morgan) Jellison Spautz, of Dyersville, and his father Harold T. (Debra) Birch, of Dubuque. His siblings, Kayla (Bryce Green) Birch, Barby Birch, and Billy Birch. His maternal grandfather Ted Jellison, aunt Tina (Bill) Vickerman, and a cousin Cassi Vaassen.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Kathy Jellison and Norma Waechter and a sister Amanda Birch.
In lieu of flowers a Andy Birch memorial fund will be established.
