Ann Lucille Riste, 74, of Waukon, Iowa, passed away on December 11, 2017 in La Crosse, WI.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 18th, 2017 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road where services will be held at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Rodney Allers officiating.
Ann was born on May 26, 1943 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of Herman and Mabel (Smith) Knockel. She married Mike Riste in May of 1976 at the Little Brown Church.
She is survived by her siblings, Lorraine Muenster, of Dubuque, Shirley Anderson, of Wheaton, IL, Mike Knockel, of Dubuque, Norman (Karen) Knockel, of Bernard; her sister-in-law Grace Knockel and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Mike; sisters, Bernice, Patricia, Barbara and Margerita; brothers Herman Jr., James, and Otto.
The family wishes to thank the Gunderson Health Center in La Crosse and all their doctors, nurses and staff who were so kind and caring to Ann in the ICU unit; also to all her neighbors and friends for all their thoughts and prayers.
