Brandon J. Budde, 34, of Dubuque, died Sunday, March 19, 2017.
Services will be held Friday, March 24, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Dubuque Community Church. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Dubuque Community Church.
Brandon was born on September 26, 1982, in Dubuque, son of Tom Budde and Lynn (Vanderah) Budde. He graduated from Cedar Rapids Kennedy, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Brandon was an avid welder and self-employed. He was a member of the Dubuque Community Church, where he was loved by many.
Brandon enjoyed his time on the Bellevue Ski team where he made memories with his father and nephew, Joseph. His infectious smile always lit up the room. He was happiest hosting his children, nieces and nephews for a farm-fun day. When not water skiing, he loved loading the grill and feeding everyone, just like Uncle Fred.
Surviving are his father, Tom Budde, and mother, Lynn (Vanderah) Budde, both of Dubuque; two sisters, Tracy (Ryan) Bastian, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Jennifer (Jason) Weidemann, of East Dubuque, IL; a very special nephew, Joseph Budde, of Iowa City, Iowa; his children, Ethan Wernimont (Kalyn), of Dubuque, Xavier Enriquez (Ruby), of Arlington, TX, and Nevaeh Budde (Angel), of Dubuque, Iowa; nieces, Bailyn, Brylee and Brielle Bastian, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; nephews, Bryson Bastian, of Cedar Rapids, Dakota Cook, Jayce Weidemann and Jackson Weidemann, all of East Dubuque, IL.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Chandra Budde; grandparents, Orville Budde, Melvin Vanderah and Irma (Runde) Vanderah; and his very special friends Jamie Martin and Adam Goerdt.
