Brian Joseph Kass, 53, of Williford, Arkansas formerly of Sherrill passed away on November 26, 2017 in Arkansas.
Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 5th, 2017 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Sherrill with Rev. Noah Diehm officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 4th, 2017 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road. Family and friends may also gather after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church until time of mass.
Brian was born on January 28, 1964 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Vincent and Mary Agnes (Urbain) Kass. He graduated from Dubuque Senior High School, and worked for Paul Curtis Construction in Arkansas.
He loved to fish, enjoyed antique collecting, gardening and canning, and working on his cars, especially his Mustang.
He is survived by his mother Mary Agnes Kass, of Sherrill; brothers, Duane (Kim) Kass, of Sherrill, Curt (Peggy) Kass, of Monticello, Jeremy (Barb) Kass, of Bellevue, Chad Kass, of Hazel Green, WI, Pat (Tina) Kass, of Sherrill, Marty Kass of Durango, Troy (Allison) Kass of Sherrill; sisters, Tina (Bernie) Miles, of San Diego, CA, Brenda (Jim) Kelly, of Ballinger, Texas, Karen (Drew) Greear, of Cedar Rapids, Angela (Brian) Staszewski, of Le Claire, Jennifer (Chris Schreiner) Kass, of Chandler, Ariz., and Kelly (Travis) Klinefelter, of Dubuque. Nieces and nephews, Conor, Ewan, JT, Josh, Megan, Michaela, Jaydan, Addy, Jacob, Claire, Evlynn, Cora, and Tyler.
Brian was preceded in death by his father Vincent Kass in 2012, a sister Katie Kass, in 1990 and a brother Jeff Kass in 2010. His grandparents Dolores and Billy Urbain and Theresa and Charles Kass.
