Catherine Langridge, 77 of Oak Park Place in Dubuque passed away on November 16, 2015 at Luther Manor.
Family and friends may gather after 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2015 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road where services will be held at 11:00 a.m.
Catherine was born on December 17, 1937 in New Brunswick, NJ the daughter of Michael Targia and Catherine Florentino. She graduated from New Brunswick High School and married James Langridge on March 18, 1973 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, East Brunswick, New Jersey. She worked as a secretary for an attorney in New Brunswick for over 20 years.
She was a volunteer preschool teacher for Nor'kirk Presbyterian in Carrollton, Texas for ten years.
She is survived by her husband James, a brother Santo (Lucy) Targia, of Irmo, SC, and a sister Mary Ann Snedeker, of Chilhowie, VA. Her nieces and nephews; Deborah Cecere, and Frederick Policastro both of Jupiter, FL, Robert Snedeker, of Edison, NJ, Barbara Sloan, Sharon Snedeker, both of Chilhowie, VA, Michael Targia, of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Kathleen Hamilton, and Michele Malloy, both of Castle Hayne, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Theresa Policastro.
The family wishes to thank Hospice of Dubuque and Mercy Medial Center for all their care they gave to Catherine.
