Colleen Marie Brandenburg 58 of Dubuque passed away Saturday January 13, 2018 at home with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Leonard Funeral Home & crematory 2595 Rockdale Road where friends may call from 4 until the time of services. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.
Colleen was born on April 13, 1959 in Dubuque, the daughter of Rosemary (Welsh) Michael. She married Clarence Brandenburg on May 28, 1994 in Dubuque. She was an avid bowler, and loved to play bingo and cards. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her husband Clarence; three children Ronald (Donna Brown) Key, Christi (Michael) Nelson, and Cody (Amber) Key; seven grandchildren Jordon, Michelle, Alexis, Damien, Stephen, Scott, and Adriana; her siblings Robert (Nancy) Michael, Norann Long, Pam Wachendorf, Debbie (Kevin) Linden and her twin brother Eugene Michael, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Rosemary Michael, a daughter Tonya Key, and a sister Kathy Maus.
A Colleen Brandenburg memorial fund has been established.
The family would like to thank the staff of American Home Health Care, Hospice of Dubuque and Unity Point Health, Finley Hospital for all the care and comfort they gave to Colleen.
