Constance G. “Connie” Nolan, 81, of Key West Iowa, passed away on Monday, August 14th, 2017 at home.
Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 18th, 2017 at St. Joseph Church, Key West with Rev. Philip Mensah officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road where there be a wake service at 6:45 p.m.
Connie was born on May 4th, 1936 in East Dubuque, Illinois the daughter of Joseph and Bernice (LaCounte) Foht. She received her education at East Dubuque High School.
Connie worked in the lunch program at St. Joseph Key West; Anderson-Weber Toyota; Du Med Home Health Care & Uniforms; and Walmart where she retired in 2009. Additionally, she was a member of the Dubuque County Board of Adjustments.
Connie loved her kitties, leaving behind two special kitties, “George” and “Sammi”. She coached volleyball for many years at St. Joseph’s grade school and was also Cub Scout Leader. Connie loved to cook and bake, as well as garden.
She is survived by her son Gary Nolan; grandson Jesse (Lisa) Maas; brothers Norbert (friend, Shirley Kirkpatrick) Foht and Gerald (Jerry) Foht; sister Jenanne Grant; great grandson Kayden Maas; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons Terry and Tony; her brother Delbert Foht; and her sister Eldine Delk.
