Jean, Marc, Tammy, and Barb and family. I want to extend my deepest condolences for the loss of your mom. She had a wonderfully full life and I hope you are able to smile when you remember and share those memories. Jean, Tammy, Marc and Barb......I am so sad to hear about your mom's passing. Seth told me about it and I was shocked. Just discovered in October that Corky was at Stonehill when I bumped into Tammy at WDHS. I was stunned to hear that because Corky was so sharp minded and full of life that I couldn't imagine her being stricken by Alzheimer's. We were so blessed to live next door to your family and spend many hours with your mom. Even more blessed were my children Seth and Kortney for being able to spend hours with your mom as their daycare provider and most importantly, their friend. Corky never met a child that wasn't special to her, nor did she meet a person who wasn't her friend. Corky was the most giving and caring person I knew. Of course, in knowing your family, your mom definitely instilled in all of you the importance of treating people like they were family. My life is much richer for knowing Corky. Today, while Earth feels a little sad due to your mom's passing, Heaven is a little brighter by her arrival. I hope the many memories you have of your mom help ease the sorrow you feel at this time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
