Dawn M. (Frommelt) Soppe, 49 of Dubuque, Iowa passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, August 6, 2016.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11th at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road. Friends may gather after 10:00 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Dawn was born on October 1, 1966 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of George and Sharon (Unsen) Frommelt. She attended Dubuque Senior High School and graduated in 1982. In October of 2001 she married John Steven Soppe.
Dawn most recently worked at Kelly's Kitchen as a sandwich chef. She was very proud of this title.
She loved to collect anything wolves and Jeff Gordon memorabilia. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Heather Frommelt, Nicole Frommelt, and Tiffany (Jacob) Hoffman all of Dubuque; and her son Robert Soppe, of Ormond Beach, FL. Her grandchildren; Abagale, Paislee-Ann, Madilynn, Grayson and Klaus. Her mother Sharon Frommelt; maternal grandmother, Elsie Unsen; stepmother, Candace Frommelt; siblings, Shari (Joe) Bush, Brenda Smith, Dwayne Frommelt, Peggy (Roger) Russell, Will Frommelt, Lonnie (Gayle) Beversdorf, Brian Frommelt, Melissa Moore, Jason Moore, Brittany (Jeremy) Weber, Ashley Durey, Logan Frommelt and Tyler Frommelt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Soppe, her father, George Frommelt and father-in-law, Harold Dement.
The family would like to thank everyone for their continuous thoughts and prayers during this difficult time for all of us.
