Dixie L. (Bradley) Clasen, 62, of La Motte, Iowa passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at home.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 20th, 2017 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road with Pastor Paul Gammelin officiating. Family and friends may gather after 10:00 a.m. Monday, until time of service at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Dubuque Memorial Gardens.
Dixie was born on June 20, 1954 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of Cornelius J. and Lois Ann (Bormann) Bradley. She graduated from Andrew high School, and on July 9, 1977 she married Rick Clasen at Salem Lutheran Church in Andrew, Iowa. He preceded her in death.
Dixie was the owner and operator of Dixie’s Circle C Saloon in La Motte, Iowa for 33 years and was a member of the La Motte Community Club.
She is survived by her parents Cornelius and Lois Ann Bradley; her siblings, Dennis (Sharon) Bradley and Douglas (Renee) Bradley; her in-laws Duane Clasen, Mike and Kathy Clasen, Tom Clasen, Kelly and Cindy Woollums, and Jerry Clasen; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rick Clasen and his parents Richard and Velma Clasen.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Jackson County Historical Society.
