Don Feeney, 50, of Burbank, California and formerly of Dubuque passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at home.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Saint Columbkilles with Rev. Gabriel Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Saint Patrick’s Garryowen Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory 2595 Rockdale Road where there will be a wake service at 3:00 p.m. with Deacon Bill Hickson officiating.
Don was born in Dubuque on July 29, 1966 the son of Robert and Mildred “Milly” (Hayes) Feeney. He graduated from Wahlert Catholic High School and the University of Iowa. Don began his career with the movie Field of Dreams in Dubuque and continued working in the entertainment industry in California for 28 years.
He is survived by his father Robert “Bob” Feeney his siblings Linda (Karl) Burmester of DeWitt, Connie (Mark) Smith of West Union, Joe (Mary Jo) Feeney of Shadow Hills, CA, and Jan (Todd Taylor) Feeney of Champaign, IL, and many nieces and nephews.
