Donna Marie Croft, 57, of 2404 Queen Street passed away on Sunday, July 24th, 2016 in Dubuque surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 29th at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road. Burial will follow in Dubuque Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28 at Leonard Funeral Home.

Donna was born in California on January 31, 1959, the daughter of Lyus and Marie (Huseman) Croft.

She attended NICC in her mid 30's and graduated as Valedictorian. She worked at Hardee’s in Dubuque for 19 years as a cook

Donna passed away surrounded by her loving family, and was led by her parents' hands to rejoin them in Heaven. She loved nature and animals. Hiking was a favorite past time of hers, and she especially loved to hunt for morels in the Spring. She loved spending time with her family and her most cherished moments were spent with her Grandchildren, Cameron and Carly.

She is survived by her son, Terry (Stephanie Duehr) Choi; Daughter, Morgan Kieffer; Sisters, Valorie (Randy) Nank, and Tammy Jo Hendren; her Brothers, George (Debbie) Croft, Jim Croft, Tom (Darla Ward) Croft, Kevin (Mary) Croft, and Steven (Michelle) Croft; grandchildren, Cameron and Carly Choi; many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her lifelong friend and companion, Dale Kieffer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, a Donna Croft Memorial Fund has been established.

The family wishes to thank, Dr. Mark Hermann and the Oncology Department at Dubuque Internal Medicine, and a very special thanks to Jennifer at Hospice of Dubuque for taking exceptional care of our beloved Donna.
