Elizabeth L. “Liz” Miller, 63 of Dubuque, Iowa, formerly of Dyersville, Iowa, passed away on September 23rd, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center.
Gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday, October 1st, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road. Afterwards, an informal prayer and sharing service will be held at 3:00 p.m.
Liz was born on March 25, 1953 the daughter of John Bernard and Henrietta "Kay" (Barker) Miller. She enjoyed playing bingo, doing needle craft and visiting with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Ellis (special friend, Sam Reynolds) of Potosi, WI. Two grandchildren Brice Heinze of Newton, Iowa and Felicia Ellis, of Peosta. Her siblings, Anna Elliott, of Dubuque, Gerald Miller, of Dubuque, Charles (Debra) Miller, of Osceola, and Ralph Miller, of Cedar Rapids. Four great grandchildren; along with nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a brother-in-law.
In lieu of flowers an Elizabeth Miller memorial fund will be established.
