Frank “Tony” Carbone, 67, of Dubuque, IA formerly of Potosi, WI, passed away on January 3rd, 2018 at 12:02 a.m. on his birthday at home surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Jumpers Sports Bar and Grill located in Plaza 20, on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family.
Frank was born on January 3, 1951 in La Crosse, WI, the son of Cosmo and Jessie (Blask) Carbone.
Tony was married to the love of his life Rhonda Murphy on May 17th, 1986. He worked for Matthews distributing for 31 years where he proudly distributed his favorite beer Coors. Tony is an avid Packer fan. He truly had a love for life and would do anything for anyone. He was most proud of his family. He lit up a room with his smile, and sense of humor. He was the friend everyone wished they had and will be missed by so many.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Carbone; loving father to three daughters and two sons, Angela (Rick) Hoppert of Berlin, WI, Jaime (Aaron) Redfern, of Windsor, WI, Tony (Jeanie) Carbone, of Kieler, WI, Kayla (Nick) Lattner, of Peosta, IA and Corey Carbone of Dubuque, IA. He is the proud grandfather to 8 grandchildren and 1 on the way. Sisters: Linda Carbone Nannenga of Bellevue, IA and Lissa Leibfried of Fennimore, WI. 11 in laws and 15 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Cosmo Carbone.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of Dubuque and Dr. Laurie Gutmann and Erin Springer from UIHC for all their loving care and support.
