My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Herron. I worked with Herron for many years at Browns/McGraw-Hill. He was such a great guy! Nobody could tell a story like Herron could. By the end of the story everyone standing around him listening was laughing. He loved his Vikings and was defiantly a diehard fan...through good times and bad he always wore his purple and gold. He was way too young to go and will be deeply missed.

In 1967 on a cold night on Angella St ( like tonight) Herron took the time to teach a youngster like me how to hit the bottom of the net. Basketball games at that hoop were always better with Herron around. Good guy, good athlete.

To Herron's family my Deepest Condolences. Spent time around Herron before I moved to Colorado and always enjoyed it. He was a fun guy and I'm glad I got to know him.

To Herron's family my Deepest Condolences. I knew Herron from the 70"s in Dubuque and always enjoyed my time around him, Fun Guy! Went on a trip with him, Mark Herron and Tim Ball to Branson ending up in Laredo that memory wise I'll never forget. Herron was one of the Good One's!
