Jana S. (Coleman) Jarl, 53 of Peosta, Iowa passed away on October 28, 2015 at Sunnycrest Manor.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Podhajsky officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
She was born on November 22, 1961 in Marion, Illinois the daughter of Harold and Carla (Baumann) Coleman. She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School. She moved to Anoka, MN where she lived for many years and worked as an independent travel agent. She later returned to Dubuque for the last seven years.
She is survived by her two children, Alexandria and Travis of Anoka, MN, her parents Harold and Carla Coleman, of Dubuque, two brother’s Harold Coleman, of Phoenix, AZ, and his children Lauren and Audrey, and Jeff (Special friend, Mary Jo Schuette) Coleman, of New Brighton, MN and his children Jenilee and Brandon. Her long time friends Mike “Spike” Donovan and his family of Dubuque.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Hospice of Dubuque.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Unity Point Health, Finley Hospital, Sunnycrest Manor and Hospice of Dubuque for all their care.
