Jance Lynn Reisdorf, 45, of 3390 Rose Apartments, formerly of 1103 Garfield Dubuque IA, passed away January 21st 2015. Friends may call on January 27, 2015 at Leonard Funeral Home, 2595 Rockdale Road from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with services at 7:00 p.m. by Pastor Matt Collins officiating. Burial will be at Mount Calvary at a later time.
She was born July 27, 1969 the daughter of Terrance Sr. & Judith (Pitz) Reisdorf.
Jance was a much loved individual by many. She was always a giver to others either related or just in need. She had donated her large collection of collector Barbie dolls to children in need at the Iowa University Hospital, earned her CNA early on providing care for those in need, she would always be there to care for family in so many ways. Jance was the world’s greatest daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, godmother, and friend. She had a beautiful way about her, always being a good listener lifting your spirits with her wonderful smile.
Jance is survived by her mother Judy, Grandfather Bob Pitz, her brothers Terrance Reisdorf Jr. (Jodi), Joe Reisdorf, and Bob Reisdorf (Ann). Jance was a loving aunt to Zoey, Mateah, Carter, Denver, and Katelyn.
Jance was preceded in death by her father Terrance Reisdorf Sr., nephew Jacob Woodward-Reisdorf, Grandparents Joe & Irma Reisdorf and Grandparent Rose Walsh.
Flowers may be sent to Leonard Funeral Home prior to services.
The family would like to thank the community who helped us in our efforts to find Jance. Special thanks to our Dubuque Law Enforcement, including Officer Paul Avenarius, Officer Jonathan Brokens, Officer William “BJ” Juergens, Captain Russ Stecklein, Chapain Charles Fizer, and Lt. Scott Baxter. We also wish to thank various persons with the Rose staff & residents who involved themselves in Jance life, she loved you.
