Jeanne Kay Reynolds, 56 originally from Dubuque, IA passed away September 13th, 2017. Jeanne passed away in Rochester, MN at Mayo Hospital and Clinics.

A memorial mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 at St. Raphael’s Cathedral with Msgr. Thomas Toale officiating. Family and friends may visit after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the church until time of mass. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is in charge of arrangements.

Jeanne was born in Dubuque, Iowa on May 25th, 1961 to Robert and Barb (Strong) Durey.

She was married on January 8th, 1983 to Richard Rex Reynolds. Jeanne graduated at Loras College in 1983 with a BA in Psychology. She had three children, Amanda M Reynolds, Kelly A Reynolds (deceased), and Jordan K Reynolds.  Jeanne later went on to completed her Masters in Nursing at St. Schoalstica. Jeanne and her family moved around the country as her husband served in the military. Jeanne and her husband relocated to Waterloo, IA in 2012 to be closer to family.

 Jeanne will be remembered as a giving and caring individual. Jeanne was an avid crafter and often could be found crocheting, knitting, or sewing.  She often donated her homemade goods to others and organizations.  Jeanne had the ability to laugh at herself and had a good sense of humor. It is thought that she developed this skill over years of living with her husband, who loves to be a prankster.

 She is survived by her husband Richard Rex Reynolds; her two children Amanda M. Reynolds, and Jordan K. Reynolds; her two grandchildren, Aiden and Amelia Hoffman. Her parents, Robert and Barb Durey; Jeanne is also survived by her siblings, Julie (John) Potter, Robert Durey, and Jennifer Durey Waugh; her 3 brothers-in-law, Robert Reynolds, Ronald (Doug) Reynolds, and Brian Remakel. She also is survived by her nieces and nephews, Taylor (Matt Nemmers) Durey, Caitlin Remakel, and Christopher Remakel; and two great niece and nephews, Auroa and Garrick Fishel.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Anne Reynolds; her mother-in-law, Freda Reynolds; her father-in-law, Rex Reynolds; and her sister-in-law, Cathy Remakel (Reynolds).
