Juanita Mae “Snookie” Wagner, was born on January 25th, 1941 in Chicago, IL the daughter of John and Theresa Nelson.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25th, 2015 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road where services will be held at 11:00 a.m.
Juanita was a stay at home mom to her children for a period of time before returning to school and receiving her high school diploma. She also attended college for awhile. She then attended a School of Training to become caregiver to many young, disabled, and special children. She loved her family dearly and was a great mother.
Juanita was a people person, always a sense of humor. Everyone loved “Snookie”, she was always helping others.
Juanita accepted and dedicated her life to Jesus over 40 years ago. She loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She leaves to mourn; two daughters; Brenda and Sheila (Frederick), three sons; Michael, Steven, and Robert (Ralpheleta), two sisters; Beverly and Lillian, one brother; Gerald (Irene), a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Juanita is preceded in death by her father, mother, two sisters; Delores and Laverne, three brothers; Jerome, Donald, and Richard.
She will be missed by the many whose lives she touched. The family is indeed grateful for all acts of kindness during this time of bereavement. May God bless each of you.
