Kennon William Carr, 52 of Dubuque passed away on September 17, 2016 at home.
Gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday, September 21st from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road where a service will be held at 6:00 p.m.
He was born on May 14, 1964 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Margaret Dolphin and Gerald Carr. He graduated from Dubuque Senior High School and worked as a carpenter for many years.
He enjoyed to ride his motorcycle, play pool and spend time with his family.
He is survived by the love of his life Sherry Griffin; children, Kenneth Carr, Jacob Griffin, and Kristal Kruse; two grandchildren Brandilynn Carr and Caleb Rumple. His brother Kevin (Kelly) Carr and two sisters Lynne and Lisa Carr.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers a Kennon William Carr memorial fund will be established.
