Larry Lange Obituary

Larry J. Lange, 63, of California, formerly of Dubuque passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 in California.

Family and friends may gather from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at a later date.

Larry was born on July 14, 1954 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Eldon and Betty (Berg) Lange. He graduated from Wahlert High School in 1972 and worked as a mason until his retirement from the Laborers Union Local 1130 in 2017.

He was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, but his real love was for his Lange Gang family members and many friends. The memories made over the years as a son, brother, uncle, and friend will never be forgotten.  Everyone close to Larry will miss him every day, but cherish the moments they had with him. 

Larry is survived by his mother Betty Lange, of Dubuque; his siblings Sue (Dan) Murray, Annie Johnson, Bill (Merry) Lange, Tim (Linda) Lange, all of Dubuque, Nancy (Terry) Kremer, of LaMotte, Joann (Brant) Schueller, of Dubuque, Marie (Dave) Paul, of Durango, CO and Tony (Laura) Lange, of Bettendorf, IA. Seventeen nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Eldon and his grandparents Henry and Alberta Lange and Raymond and Marie Berg.

In lieu of flowers a Larry J. Lange memorial fund will be established.
