Marion C. Wagner Faust, formerly of Sherrill and Key West Iowa, went to her Heavenly home on Wednesday June 21, 2017.
Funeral services will be at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Sherrill, Iowa on Monday, June 26 at 10:30am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 25. Visitation also after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church until time of mass. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, Dubuque, Iowa is in charge of arrangements.
She was born on November 17, 1925 in Potosi, Wisconsin. Marion graduated from High School in Tennyson, Wisconsin and went to nursing school at Mercy in Dubuque, Iowa. Graduating with an RN degree. Marion worked for many years as a nurse in Dubuque.
Marion married Don (Butch) A. Wagner on April 12, 1947. They were Dairy Farmers for many years in rural Sherrill. Don passed away on October 22, 1984. Marion later married Floyd Faust in 1992. Floyd passed away on April 20, 2011.
Marion was preceded in death by her parents – Cornelius and Francis Ulbrich, two sisters, Rita (Gene) Droessler, Lorraine (Raymond) Hartl, and one brother Mar Ulbrich.
Marion is survived by one sister in law, Teresa Ulbrich, one son, Nick (Melody) Wagner of Dubuque, one daughter, Jane (Leo) Becker of rural Waterloo; six grandchildren, Melissa, Emily, Tyler, Brittany, Cory and Tony; and nine great grandchildren; she is also survived by Floyd’s family; Edwin (Linda) Faust, Dick (Betsy) Faust and Jack Faust.
Marion loved to dance, golf, bowl, play cards and spend time with her family and friends
Marion was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who loved to spend time with her family and always had a smile on her face.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cedar Valley Hospice or St. Peter and Paul Church in Sherrill.
