Mary Ann Koltes, 72 of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on Sunday, May 15th, 2016 at Stonehill Care Center with her family at her side.
Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 19th, 2016 at St. Peter and Paul Church in Sherrill with Rev. Richard Gaul officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 18th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale where a family wake service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Family and friends may also gather after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church until time of mass.
Mary Ann was born on March 24, 1944 in Cuba City, WI daughter of Rudolph and Mabel (Kaiser) Loeffelholz.
She married Gary Koltes on July 5, 1997. Mary Ann has been a caregiver for many years and babysat for many different families. She also worked for LouAnna’s Catering for weddings and anniversary parties.
Mary Ann enjoyed going on vacations with family and friends and when Gary started the truck she was already ready to go.
She is survived by her husband Gary of 18 years, her sister Jeanette (Joe) Henkels, three brothers, Howard (Barb) Loeffelholz, Eugene (Sandi) Loeffelholz, Jerry (Patty) Loeffelholz. Her in-laws, Janann Ambrosy, Shirley Koltes, Duane “Hap” Koltes along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws Leo and Rosina (Nauman) Koltes, Lelan Ambrosy, Lavern Koltes and Linda Koltes.

The family wishes to thank Finley Hospital Staff, Stonehill Care Center Staff and Hospice of Dubuque especially Shelia and Barb and her niece Jennifer Pins for all their wonderful care and kindness they gave.
