Mary E. Mangers

Mary E. Mangers, 85, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away at home, on Thursday, September 7, 2017.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 11, 2017 at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Rev. Rodney Allers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 10th, 2017 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road where a wake service will be at 1:00 p.m.

She was born on September 18, 1931 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of Clarence and Agnes (Streff) Butlett. She married Dale Mangers on November 24th, 1956 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening, and spending time with family.

Mary is survived by her husband Dale; son Dave (Kim) Mangers; daughters Debbie (Rick Brewer) Frommelt, Julie (Mike) Ritt; Grandchildren Nikki (Gary) Ostrander, Jessica (Tom) Mangers, Steven (Sarah) Mangers, Michael (Ashley) Mangers, James (Matt) Mangers, and Jasmine Ritt; as well as 15 great grandchildren

She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Agnes Butlett.

The family would like to thank the girls from Hospice of Dubuque especially Kristin for their care and kindness.
