Patricia J. Biedermann, 87, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Stonehill Care Center with family by her side.
Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road. Burial will follow in Dubuque Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Patricia was born on July 29, 1930 in Indiana the daughter Louis and Opal (Stark) Avery. She married Dean Biedermann and he preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 2011.
She loved doing crafts and loved being outside and the wildlife.
She is survived by her five children, William (Jean) Stark), of East Dubuque, IL, Linda Schwager, Elizabeth (Beth) Carroll, James (Bernadetta) Stark, and Susan (Jeff) Paisley, all of Dubuque. Her step children, Edwin (Jan) Biedermann, Michael Biedermann, and Linda Biedermann, all of Dubuque. Her grandchildren, Billie Jo Stark, Dakota (Kristy) Stark, of East Dubuque, Shawn (Tom) Kohnen, Jeremy Sanders, Ańdrea Koppes, Ashley Deppe, Carrie (Pat) Boots, Cory Schlitter, Jamie Stark, Sterling Stark, Solomon, Stark, Kazmira Stark, and Nikki (Dan) Prejmak all of Dubuque. Step grandchildren, Donna (Al) Weber, Scott (Danielle) Biedermann, Jake and Jessica Biedermann, Crissy Lenz and Deana Brothers. Along with many great and great great grandchildren. Her sister, Sr. Anne Avery, of Louisville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dean, a daughter Penny in infancy, stepson William Biedermann, step-granddaughter Barbie Gatena, son-in-law Lauwrence Carroll and brother Walter Avery.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at Stonehill, the 3NW staff especially Stacy and Trinity and to Hospice of Dubuque especially Sara.
