Reginald L. "Reggie" Jones

Reginald L. “Reggie” Jones, 53, passed away April 13, 2018 at his home in Dubuque, IA.

Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family with a private service and burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Reggie was born on February 11th, 1965 in Waukon, IA the son of Lester and Charlene (Nichols) Jones. He graduated from Hempstead High School in 1983 and worked several jobs, but most recently at Kipper Lawn Care and Swiss Colony.

Reggie excelled at all sports especially tennis, racquetball, and baseball. Reggie loved being outside having bonfires and hunting morals. He enjoyed spending time and caring for his nieces and nephews through the years, but there was one who stood out, his nephew Andrew Jones. Their love of music bonded them for life, on the weekend you could always find them at a music event rocking out. Reggie will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his siblings, Leslie Houselog, of Cedar Rapids; Angela (Frank) Woods and Corey Jones, of Dubuque; 6 nephews; 4 nieces; 2 great nieces; 4 great nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Reggie was preceded in death by his Parents, Lester and Charlene Jones; Grandparents Clark and Vera Nichols, as well as, Milo and Myrtle Jones.
