Shirley Ann Weber Lambert, 78, of Key West, IA passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at home.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30a.m. Thursday, March 19th at St. Joseph Church, Key West with Rev. Scott Boone officiating. Committal services will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Family and friends may gather after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the church until the time of the funeral mass. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family.

Shirley was born on December 16, 1936 at the family home in Dubuque the only child of Edward and Rosina (Finzel) Weber. She graduated from Nativity Grade School, Visitation Academy and Dubuque Cosmetology Academy in Dubuque. She worked for Dubuque Beauty Supply House.

 She married Dave Lambert on September 15, 1956 at Nativity Church in Dubuque and together they raised four children.

Shirley was proud of, and blessed with a great family. She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Shirley's home was very special to her and her yard was filled with beautiful flowers.  Her favorite times were being with her friends, playing cards and dominoes. She joined the “Red Hat” club in 2005.
 
Shirley will be missed by her loving husband Dave; children Vicki (fiance, Don Haas) Brandell, of Isanti, Minnesota, Mike (Chris) Lambert, of Peosta, IA, Jeff (Nancy) Lambert, of Centennial, Colorado, and David (Carol) Lambert Jr., of Dubuque, Iowa; grandchildren Ryan and Alyson Brandell, John (Mariana), Joe, Jeana, Joshua, Megan, Andrew and Kayla Lambert, Angie and Garret Pratt and Ethan Sabers; great grandchild, Myles Brandell; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Mary (Dr. John) Brehm, Sister Eleanor Lambert, Terry (friend Roberta) Lambert, Hazel Lambert and many cousins and friends.
 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Frank and Flora Lambert, brothers-in-law Jim and Danny Lambert.

The family request no flowers.  Memorials may be given to Hospice of Dubuque.
