Dear Mrs. Walsh.
Ross and I wish to extend our sincere sadness at the death of your beautiful daughter, Jodi.   Since she lived in our building, we had a chance to get to know her a little.  She was always pleasant and a good tenant.  Our hearts just ache for your loss.  If there is anything we can do for you, don't hesitate to call.   We're not able to attend her services on Friday, but know our thoughts are with you.      Sincerely,  Peg and Ross Ball,  1298 Locust,  Dubuque, IA  52001

Sue and John, You have my deepest sympathy.  I hope the support of those around you can help you through these long and seemingly dark days. "Death leaves a heatache that no one can heal.  Love leaves a memory that no one can steal."  I will always remember Jodi as the little 6 year old who emptied the dishwasher and put the plates and glasses away in the bottom cabinets because she could not reach the upper ones. She was a determined resourceful young lady. You are in my prayers.

To Jodi's family;
I am deeply sorry for your loss.  I knew Jodi for a short time and in that time she shared her truly wonderful spirit, her amazingly quick sense of humor, and her sound advice. Jodi was one in a million and I will miss her.

Susan and Bill,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Words can't express how sorry I am to hear of this. I thoroughly enjoyed Jodi in high school and I admired her for her great knowledge of everything. I looked up to her scholastically and always wished I could have been as smart as she was. She will be a missed classmate of our class of 86 and will forever be remembered.
With Sympathy,
Travis Strode

This saddens me.  Knowing Jodi in my formative years in high school I remember her as such a kind person.  She was always quick to praise, and slow to judge.  I remember her helping with Spanish and teasing me because i could pronounce the words but not understand the meanings.  It made that class a joy.  That is just one of many fond memories I have of her.  Thank you for having her be a part of my life and know that her kindness to me was appreciated and is a part of who I've become today.  She was a wonderful person.  Reading about her and knowing she influenced so many others through teaching is a blessing those who knew her well can appreciate.

I am sad for your loss, but happy at the memories she gifted to me. When I think of her I can't help but smile.

I am so sad for your loss.  I knew Jodi through my brother Ryan, who dated her for some time.  Our family adored Jodi.  She was always fun to spend time with.  She taught me how to eat the hottest peppers I've ever eaten.  She made my brother happy.  She was a wonderful person, and will be missed.

Paar Family,

I am so sad to hear of Jodi's passing.  She was a good friend to me in high school in basketball and band.  A beautiful person.  I wish I would have had the privilege of knowing her after high school.  I pray peace and comfort for you during this very difficult time.
