Joanne E. Rowell

Joanne E. Rowell, born on November 25, 1935, peacefully passed away on March 21, 2024.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Fennimore, Wisconsin at a later date. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is assisting the family.

Joanne dedicated 40 years of her life to Lands End in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, where she made lasting impressions on colleagues and friends alike. Joanne loved being with family, around all of her boys. She had a passion for Scrabble, Euchre, Diet Coke, and Turkish sitcoms.

To her grandson, she was more than a grandmother; she was a guiding light, a pillar of strength, and a savior. Always there to offer a helping hand, a listening ear, or a gentle nudge in the right direction, Joanne's love and support were unwavering. Whether it was ensuring her grandchildren were well-fed, dressed appropriately, or taught important life lessons, she was ever-present and dependable.

She was the strongest woman ever encountered. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and resilience will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Though she may have departed from this world, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Joanne will be deeply missed by her surviving family members, including her sons Gene, Charlie, and Richard; her sisters Sandy and Carol; her grandchildren Tyler, JC, Josh, Luke, Nicholas, Anthony, and Zabrina; her great-grandchildren Liam, Kami, Andrue, Alex, and Bailey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless individuals whose lives she touched.

She is reunited with her beloved daughter, Donna Henry, her brothers Alan Bock and Wayne Bock, Mickey Bock, and her parents, Eugenia and Wayne Bock.

Rest in peace, Grandma. You will be dearly missed, but your memory will be cherished eternally.
