Sara Anne Schauer-Ricke

AUSTIN, Texas — Sara Anne Schauer Ricke, 49, of Austin and formerly of Dubuque, died on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at Linwood Cemetery.

She was born on Feb. 13, 1974 to Dorrance and Shirley Schauer in Dubuque and graduated from Wahlert in 1992. In 2002, she received a BA from Clarke College.

She is survived by her sister, Anne (Tom) Pregler, mother of Renee and Jeff (Sydney) of Dubuque; her brothers, Larry of Kennesaw, Ga., Ken (Kelly); father of Ethan and Marissa of Red Oak, Iowa; and John (Linda), father of Daniel and Rebecca of Cambridge, N.Y.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents Dorrance and Shirley Schauer; grandparents, David and Mary Schauer and Harry and Rose Stoffel; and many aunts and uncles.
