Bruce Winders Obituary

Bruce Alan Winders, 75, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on August 29, 2018 at home.

Military honors will be accorded at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5th, 2018 at Mueller Chapel, Linwood Cemetery by the Dubuque Marine Corps League.

Burial will follow in the Cemetery. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family.

Bruce was born on February 16, 1943 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Floyd and Margaret (Gisel) Winders. He is a US Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.

He worked at Team Electronics and later at Ellis Appliance. Bruce was an avid golfer and bowler and was a member of many leagues.

Bruce is survived by his significant other and best friend of 45 years Therese Hein, of Dubuque, his faithful dog "Dougy", cousins and his golfing buddies and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
