Carole A. Huseman

Carole A. Huseman, 80, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on February 18th, 2019 at Unity Point Health, Finley Hospital.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road where a service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at a later date in Linwood Cemetery.

Carole was born on January 31, 1939 and grew up in Monona, Iowa with her grandparents Sarah and Dell Rose. She married Randall Huseman on July 22, 1961 in Dubuque and he preceded her in death on November 5, 2012.

She worked for Dubuque John Deere, K-Mart and Welu Printing. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed doing crafts.

Carole is survived by her three grandchildren, Molly (Dan) Hesselman, Matt (Courtney) Mihalakis, and Nicholas Nauman. Six great-grandchildren, Bailey and Nolan Hesselman, Miranda, Maximus, Mackenzie and Maverick Mihalakis. Brothers and sister-in-laws Mike and Ruth Huseman, Carol and Dave Davis, Marty and Debbie Huseman and Fred and Sue Huseman.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter Julie on August 3, 2006 along with many siblings.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Unity Point Health, Finley Hospital; along with Pat and Roger Gross, Mike and Ruth Huseman and Fred and Sue Huseman for all the great care they gave to Carole.
