Elizabeth J "Beth" DeGree-Mueller, 55, of Dubuque, Iowa passed on January 5, 2018, at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9th, 2018 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road where an informal time of sharing and prayer will be at 7:00 p.m. A private graveside service at Mt. Olivet Cemetary will be held at a later date.
Beth was born in Dubuque, Iowa on September 19, 1962 the daughter of James and Marjorie (Looney) DeGree. She graduated from Wahlert High School and Genesis Institute of Cosmetology. She married the love of her life, Keith Mueller on July 27, 2002. Beth worked as a Cosmetologist for many years at the Hair-Berdashery Salon & Spa.
Beth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt who relished the time she spent with family and friends, all of whom she dearly loved.
She is survived by her husband, Keith and her children, Ian, Jill, Brandon (Krissy), Andy (Jenny), Erik (Tricia) Mueller. Grandchildren: Kaden, Rylan, Nash, Alayna and Porter Mueller. Her mother, Marjorie DeGree, her siblings, Mike DeGree, Linda (Chuck) Deutmeyer, and Tom (Martha) DeGree, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, James DeGree, and beloved niece, Laura.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Beth's memory.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Regan Wolbers, Dr. Mark Hermann, and all the nurses and staff at the Grand River Medical Oncology Department for their help and support during Beth's battle. Also, to our family and friends for their love and support.
