Karolyn K. Clemen 74 of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on Thursday May 25,2017 at home.
Family and friends may visit from 10:00am to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon John Stierman officiating. Burial will follow at Dubuque Memorial Gardens.
Karolyn was born on August 3, 1942 in Manchester, Iowa, The daughter of Earl and Grace (Rainbird) Hansen. She graduated from Manchester High School and married Roger C. Clemen, on April 5th, 1960, in Manchester. They shared 57 years together until Roger's death on May 3rd, 2017.
Over the years she worked at the Holiday Inn, Saint Columbkilles, US Bank and Finley Hospital, along with being a full time wife and mother. She enjoyed going to garage sales, baking and playing the penny slots and mostly spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Mike (Kim) Clemen, Rod (Donna) Clemen, Greg (Karen) Clemen, Steve (Candy) Clemen, Darla (Dave) Goedert and Earl Clemen, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, A brother Arlo (Sharon) Hansen, a brother-in-law Earl Clemen and a sister-in-law Eileen Frey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roger, a brother Vincent "Bink", and 4 sisters
Joann, Norma, Dorothy and Patty.
