Kathleen M. Kane

Kathleen M. Kane, 87, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on January 28th, 2018 at Luther Manor.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 31st, 2018 at. St. Raphael Cathedral with Msgr. Thomas Toale officiating. Family and friends may gather after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church until time of mass. Private family burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Garryowen. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family.

Kathleen was born on September 15, 1930 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of Maurice and Rachel (Shannon) Donovan. Kathleen was a foster grandparent with Hillcrest Family Services and also volunteered with many other organizations in the community.

She loved her sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and enjoyed their time spent together.

Kathleen is survived by her two sons, Michael (Joan) Kane, of Minneapolis and Steve (Paula) Kane, of Kieler; four grandchildren, Robert (Susan) Kane, Theresa (Matt) Webber, Brian Kane and Adam Kane; five great grandchildren, Michael, Patrick, Evan, Adalyn and Mia; her sister-in-law Doris Donovan; and many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Ethel Feeney; brothers Gerald, Ray, Al, Bill and Leo; in-laws Bill Feeney, Eileen Donovan and Doris Donovan.

In lieu of flowers a Kathleen M. Donovan memorial fund will be established.
