Katie Louise Jones

Katie Louise Jones, infant daughter of John and Kelli (Genz) Jones and twin sister of Ella Sophia Jones passed away peacefully in the arms of her parents on Tuesday, September 19th, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, just 5 days after entering this world.

Private family services will be held. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family.

Katie and her twin sister Ella were born on September 14, 2017 to their loving parents John and Kelli.

Katie will always be in our hearts. We were blessed to get to know her for almost 5 days. We are deeply saddened by what Katie will miss in this world, but find some comfort in knowing all Katie ever knew was love.

She is survived by her mommy and daddy; her big brother Erik; her twin sister Ella; along with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous extended family members and friends.

Preceded in death by her grandmother Louise Jones.
