Lloyd G. Herman, Jr. 78 of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on June 4th, 2017 at Manor Care.
Private burial with military honors by American Legion Post #6 will be in Linwood Cemetery. No public visitation or services will be held. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, Dubuque, Iowa is serving the family.
Lloyd was born on July 9, 1938 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Lloyd and Rose (Beitzel) Herman, Sr. He married Mary Flury and shared 53 years of marriage.
He is a US Navy Veteran and worked for Dubuque John Deere Dubuque Works until retirement.
Lloyd enjoyed to fish and hunt; and his mornings at Eichman’s, but mostly Lloyd enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Mary; children, Lloyd (Laura) Herman, III, Carol (Doug) Paul, Steven (Donna) Haferbecker, Michael Haferbecker, and Laura Haferbecker. His grandchildren, Laney, Charmane, Steven, Summer, Amber, Ashley, and Victoria along with many great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Liaboe, Manor Care, and Hospice of Dubuque for all the loving care they provided to Lloyd.
