Richard Kollman Obituary

Richard Kenneth Kollman, 81, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on March 13, 2018 at Trinity Health in Rock Island.

According to his wishes, no public visitation or service will be held. Burial will be at a later date in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family.

Richard was born on August 11, 1936, in Rickardsville, Iowa the son of Helen Kollman. He married Patricia Remy on December 12, 1970 in Dubuque and she preceded him in death. He served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1959.

He worked at Dubuque John Deere for 30 years and was a member of the UAW Local #94.

He was a loving father who was very kind and caring.

Richard is survived by two sons, Dennis Kollman, of Dubuque and Michael Kollman of Clear water, FL, and one grandson Michael Kollman, of Dubuque.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his wife Patricia on June 18, 2013.
