Brady Steines Obituary

Brady Anthony Steines, 35, of La Motte, Iowa passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 21, 2018.

A celebration of Brady’s life will be from 3:00 to 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 25, at Bubba’s Pub in La Motte. A private service will be held at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory in Dubuque.

Brady was born on February 21, 1983 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Steven and Molly (Till) Steines.

He graduated from Bellevue Marquette High School in 2001 and the University of Iowa in 2010. He was the proud owner and operater of Steve’s Body Shop and La Motte Auto Sales. His customers appreciated his kindness, honesty and work ethic. 

Brady was passionate about his farm and being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and Oakland Raiders. He was a gentle, generous soul and a loyal and loving son, brother, uncle and friend. Those who knew him will miss his witty humor and big, beautiful smile.

He is survived by his parents Steve “Wirehead” and Molly Steines, of La Motte; siblings Stevi (Ami Copeland) Steines, of Chicago, and Connor (Emily) Steines, of Iowa City; his nephew Aviv Copeland; and numerous family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tony and Dolly Till and Attalas and Algean Steines.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Dubuque Humane Society in Brady's name. A college scholarship fund will also be established in Brady's name.
