Catherine Lynn (Richard) Miller, 25 for the 46th time, (71) of Dubuque, passed away on September 13th, 2023 at home.
Private family burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, Dubuque, Iowa is assisting the family.
She was born Catherine Lynn Richard on May 31, 1952, in Dubuque, daughter of Clarence Joseph "CJ" Richard and Betty Lou (Ewing) Richard. She married Verne Miller on July 2nd,1970 in Dubuque. She treasured every moment with her children and grandchildren. She cherished her granddaughters and grandson. Verne David, CJ, and Cori call her Mom; Breana and Aspen call her Grammy; and Elijah calls her Sweety.
She is survived by her husband Verne; her son, Verne David Miller Jr. of Dubuque, two daughters, Cathy-Jo ‘CJ’ Miller of Dubuque, and Cori (Greg) Freihoefer of Sherrill and her precious grandchildren: Breana, Aspen, and Elijah. One brother, Roger Richard; two sisters Barb (Peter) Coyle and Deb Heming along with 15 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her little sister, Anna Lawrence in 2012, her father, CJ Richard in 1993, her mother, Betty (Ewing) Richard in 1978 and her baby brother, Clarence Joseph (Little CJ) Richard Jr. in 1963, a niece Amanda in 1987 and a nephew Petey in 1980, best friends Terry Miller 2018 and Diane Berry 2022.
