Dale Matlock Obituary

Dale Viola Matlock, 76, of Dubuque, formerly of Madisonville, Louisiana, passed away at home on May 31, 2023.

Private services were held at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dubuque, Iowa. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is assisting the family.

Dale was born on February 6, 1947, in Madisonville, Louisiana, daughter of Henery and Eunice (Blow) Wager. She attended Covington High School in Covington, Louisiana. She married Melvin O. Matlock in 1965 in Madisonville. She was primarily a housewife.

She is survived by her husband Melvin O. Matlock Sr., and sons Melvin O. Matlock Jr. and Christopher D. Matlock.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Cyril Wager and Chester Wager.
