Debra M. Janzen

Debra M. Janzen, 66, of Dubuque passed away at her home on August 21, 2021. Per her wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.

Debra was born on October 20, 1954, in Iowa City, the daughter of Leonard and Dorothy (Mai) Kruse.

She married Robert Janzen on July 1st, 1978, in Miami, Fl.

Debra enjoyed being a nurse at Hills and Dales for many years.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Amy Janzen, Jamie (Damon) Suttles; her 4-legged children, Sparky and Daisy; 5 grandchildren, Brianna and Bailey Janzen, Kaitlin Marsh, Christopher and Hope Suttles.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family would like to thank the Dubuque Police Department, Dubuque Fire Department and EMT’s, and Donna Kluesner with the Dubuque county medical examiner’s office, for their kindness and care.
