Dennis P. Meisenburg

Dennis “Denny” Meisenburg, 70, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Luther Manor Nursing Home in Dubuque, Iowa, after a battle with Alzheimer’s.

Private family services will be held. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is assisting the family.

Dennis was born on December 14, 1954, in Dubuque, Iowa, to John and Arlene (Hesseling) Meisenburg. He worked most of his adult life in sales, retiring from Sears. Dennis enjoyed playing golf, reading the newspaper, and his caffeine-free diet Pepsi. Dennis formed a close bond with his nephew Kevin and niece Melissa.
He is survived by his nephew and niece, Kevin and Melissa Donovan of Bernard, his siblings Bob Meisenburg, Vicki (Jeff) Doyle of Dubuque, and Ron (Shelly) Meisenburg of Newport, TN, and brother-in-law Patrick (Dianne) Donovan of Peosta, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings Cathy Donovan, Gary Meisenburg, John “Jack” Meisenburg, Jim Meisenburg, and Linda Kohn.
Kevin and Melissa would like to thank the staff at Luther Manor for the wonderful care they provided for Dennis.
