Donald A. Culbertson

Donald Alan “Donnie” Culbertson, 69 of Dubuque passed peacefully on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at home.  A private service and a celebration of life for immediate family will be held at a later date. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family. 

He was born on June 24, 1952, in Edgewood, IA, the son of Merwin and Dorothy (DeSotel) Culbertson. He worked as a general carpenter for the Fischer Companies for a majority of a his career. 

He was an avid music lover, enjoyed cooking, playing golf, and following the Chicago Bears. He also like to spend time with his family. 

He is survived by his son Coby (Angie) Culbertson, of Peosta, two grandchild, Caden and Chase Culbertson of Peosta, siblings Sherry Licht of Peosta, and Barry Culbertson of Dubuque and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, grandparents, and siblings, Jerry Culbertson and Michael “Mickey” Culbertson.
