Gregory Paisley

Gregory Paisley, 65, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

A celebration of Greg’s life will be held on March 22nd at Tri-State Community Church in Dubuque, Iowa. Doors open at 1:00p.m., service starts at 1:30p.m., followed by an open house with refreshments and fellowship until 4:00 p.m.

Born and raised in Dubuque, Gregory (Greg) graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1977 and worked for A.Y. McDonald until retirement.  Greg had an extremely deep connection to the outdoors. An avid hunter and fisher, he found joy in nature and shared that passion with those around him. Along with being an outdoorsman, he also enjoyed playing baseball for Sherrill, IA. His kindness, generosity, and social spirit made him a friend to many, always ready to make someone laugh or offer a helping hand. He will be remembered by many for his playful wit and compassionate heart.

Greg is survived by his former wife Mary, his four children: Sara, Lynn, William, and Samuel, along with seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Tom and sister Pam.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents William and Frances, his step-father Charles, sister Karen, and brother Dan.

He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
