Isaiah Da’Von Ries, 20, of Dubuque passed away on July 4, 2025, the result of an automobile accident.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday July 11, 2025, at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Private family burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery will be at a later date.
Isaiah was born on September 2, 2004, in Dubuque, Iowa, to Gary and Jolene (Ries) Hansen. He graduated from Hempstead High School - ALC and was currently working at Clover Ridge Place.
Isaiah was a Chicago Bears fan and a Jimmy Johnson #48 fan. He enjoyed playing football from DIFL through high school. In his spare time he loved playing video games, especially minecraft with his sisters Sarah and Gabby and loved his dog Bruno. He never failed to make a person laugh and put a smile on their face. He had a heart of gold and was loved by everyone.
Isaiah is survived by his parents, Gary and Jolene Hansen; his siblings Sarah, Gabby, Jacqueline, Jerrone, Jasmine, Lance, Aja, Jatayvia, Shymay, Travon, Tiana, Xavier, Kahnen, and Kashton. Grandparents, Francis and Pamela Ries, and Alice Hansen. Aunts and Uncles Tracy (Frisco) Herrion, Mike (Kim) Hansen, Kelly Ries, Dan (Sheryl) Hansen, Angie Meyer, Paul Hansen, Rodney (Gina) Ries, Jim Hansen, Amy Ries, Brandy (Tyler) Wernimont, Paul (Laura) Borgerding, along with his best friend David and many more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Isaiah was preceded in death by his brothers Lil J, Lil Henry, Grandpa John Hansen, Great-Grandmas Hazel Koeller and Alice Olberding, Uncle Dan Meyer, baby cousin Braxton and Many more loved ones.
