John E. Kirkpatrick, 82, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away on May 26, 2022, at Manor Care Health Services.
According to his wishes, no public services will be held. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
He married Janet Thein. He worked at Owl Furniture in Sageville, Iowa.
He served in the United States Army from 1963-1965. He is survived by his son Jimmy Kirkpatrick, brother Lawrence (Cynthia) Kirkpatrick, brothers Mark S. Kirkpatrick, Dan Kirkpatrick and David (Carrie) Kirkpatrick, and sister Donna Vaske, and sister-in-law Kathie Kirkpatrick, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Janet, parents Edward and Virginia, brothers James Kirkpatrick, Donald Kirkpatrick, and Charles Kirkpatrick, sisters Judy (John) Johll, Lucille (Bill) Quade, Elaine Kirkpatrick, and Betty Vogt, sister-in-law Treva Kirkpatrick, and brothers-in-law John Johll and Bill Quade.
In lieu of flowers, a John E. Kirkpatrick memorial fund has been established.
