Kathryn J. “Kathy” Rosenthal, 75, of Dubuque, IA passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

In accordance with Kathy’s wishes no public services will be held. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is assisting the family.

Kathy was born August 11, 1951, in Sioux City, IA, the daughter of Howard and JoAnne (Mickey) Graves.  She married Lawrence “Larry” Rosenthal. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1995, they enjoyed 26 years together. Kathy worked for many years at Galena Stauss Hospital.

She was a loving and caring mother, wife, and grandmother.  She enjoyed seeing all four of her children when they would visit and always had advice and life lessons to share. 

Kathy is survived by her children: Tiphany (Aaron) Bonnette, Tyson (Trang) Jeppesen, Robert Rosenthal, and Julie (Nick) Fracasso; seven grandchildren: Talon, Meile, Lina, Brooklyn, Kenzie, Lily and Dom.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry, and her parents.

The family would like to express their deepest thanks to the staff at Ennoble Nursing and Rehabilitation of Dubuque, for the wonderful care and help they gave Kathy during her time there.  They made her final chapter of life comfortable and content.
