Kathy M. Feuss

Kathryn M. “Kathy” Kelly-Feuss, 59, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at UnityPoint Waterloo Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is assisting the family.

Kathy was born November 24, 1966, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Gerald Kelly Sr. and Carol Ann Lightfoot.

She worked as a CNA for many years. She always had a big heart and was always kind and caring. Kathy had many health battles that kept her from getting out, but she most enjoyed her outings with Jerry, Heidi, Steve and Lynn. She also cherished her beloved fur babies, Tiny and Mya.

Kathy is survived by her siblings: Jerry (Heidi) Kelly, Bobbi Kelly, Beverly (Tim Theisen) Burdick, Jenny, Buffy, Jamie, Amanda, B.J., and Justin; her “Papa and Mama Bear” Uncle Steve and Aunt Lynn; special friend Dan Ellerman; along with her Alverna Apartment family; and many other friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Kevin Lightfoot, stepfather, Gary Scheffert and her grandparents.

The family would like to thank Jerry and Heidi for their timeless care and compassion of Kathy.

Kathy you will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
