Marc T. LeConte, 58, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Platteville and Dubuque, passed
away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

Family and friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Leonard Funeral and Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road. There will be a time of sharing at 6:00 p.m. concluding with Military Honors by the Dubuque Marine Corps League.

Marc was born on January 24, 1968, the son of Loras N. LeConte and Mary Jane E.
(Wiederholt) LeConte. From 1986 to 1992 Marc served in the United States Navy as a Naval Hull Maintenance Technician, Petty Officer First Class. After serving his country, Marc was the owner and operator of High Quality Home Maintenance from 1998-2026.

Marc was frequently found on the golf course playing between 9 and 54 holes. During football season he rooted for the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. Marc proudly maintains the diving record at Platteville High School.

He is survived by his children, Mitchell LeConte and Xochitl LeConte; his siblings, Jean Marie Schwingle, Larry (Brenda) LeConte, Jolene (Peter) Kingeter, Jeff (Pam) LeConte, Dominic LeConte; nieces, Whitney (Kyle) Timmerman, Paige (Brett) Hogan and Cecelia LeConte; nephews, Nick (Molly) Kingeter and Matt (Kelli) Kingeter; grandnieces, Hayden Kingeter and Sophia Hogan; grandnephews, Henry Kingeter, Calvin Kingeter, Trey Timmerman, Kade Kingeter and Maddox Hogan. He is also survived by his loving partner of 10 years Beverly Farris and her daughter Samantha Tayek. 

Marc was preceded in death by his parents, Loras N. LeConte and Mary Jane E.
(Wiederholt) LeConte.
